This beautiful “Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem – In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.” canvas painting is done using acrylic colors and gold foiling.

The meaning of this Islamic phrase is, “In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful“. It’s recited by Muslims daily for many different occasions. The most common place you’d hear Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Rahim being recited is before reading the Holy Book (Quran). It’s also said during obligatory prayers (salat) before Surah Fatiha but it is Sunnah that this be recited silently in the reader’s head.

This beautiful piece of art is “Ayat ul Kursi” painted on canvas in “Al Sunbali” script.

Virtues of Ayat-ul-Kursi

The 255th verse of Surah Baqarah is known as Ayatul Kursi. It is one of those verses that are memorized by almost all Muslims around the world, because of its virtues. It is profound in meaning and has many benefits, some of which include;

“When leaving home, if one recites it once, the Almighty has one group of Angels to come and protect you. If recited twice, 2 groups of Angels are assigned to do this. If recited 3 times Allah tells the Angels not to worry as the Almighty himself takes care of him”

“The Holy Prophet (saw) has said: If one recites Ayatul Kursi before going to sleep, Allah will send an Angel to come and look after you and protect you till the morning. His home, family and also neighbours will remain in safety until morning.”

“One who recites it after every prayer, thier salaat will be accepted, they will remain in the safety of the Almighty and He will protect them.”
